This collection contains scope rings and one-piece scope mounts for a Picatinny rail. Choose them by the main tube diameter of your scope: 1 inch (25.4 mm), 30 mm or 34 mm.

Rings by maker

JK-N (Czech Republic): 30 mm steel rings with a screw nut or with a lever. A configurator lets you choose the diameter (1 inch, 30 mm or 34 mm) and the height (low, medium or high). You also choose the base: one-piece or two-piece, with ergonomic, universal or tactical levers.
Contessa (Italy): steel rings with a screw nut for 1 inch and 30 mm tubes.
Davika (Ukraine): RSM-01 rings in 30 mm and 34 mm with optical axis heights of 30, 34 or 38 mm. You can set the spacing of the two rings along the rail. Davika also makes one-piece QD mounts for 30 and 34 mm, in a standard and a cantilever version. The cantilever mounts are made for AR-10 and AR-15 rifles. Davika rings and mounts are made of 7075-T6 aluminium.

Screw nut, lever or QD

Rings with a screw nut are fixed with a nut and stay on the rifle. Rings with a lever and QD (quick detach) mounts let you remove the scope without tools. According to Davika, the QD mounts keep the zero when you mount the scope again.

Ring height

Choose rings that put the scope as low as possible. The objective lens must stay clear of the barrel. A larger objective lens usually needs higher rings.

JK-N configurator bases

In the JK-N configurator you choose one of six bases. All of them fit any Weaver and Picatinny interface:

ergonomic base with extended levers, one-piece, short or long,
ergonomic base with extended levers, two-piece,
universal base, two-piece,
tactical base with levers, one-piece, short or long.

JK-N says the choice of base is mostly a matter of personal preference.

Mounting the scope

Fix the lower ring halves on the rail and put the scope in. Space the rings as far apart as the scope allows, without touching the turret housing or the objective bell.
Slide the scope forward or back until you see the full image in your normal shooting position. The eye relief in the scope description tells you how far your eye should be from the eyepiece.
Level the reticle. The Davika LV-05 magnetic level helps with this. See Bubble levels for rifle scope.
Tighten the ring screws evenly, in turns, to the torque given by the maker. Then check again that the reticle is level.

Davika cantilever mounts

The Davika cantilever mounts in 30 and 34 mm move the scope forward. Davika makes them for AR-10 and AR-15 rifles. The standard Davika QD mounts are made for bolt-action rifles.

Frequently asked questions

Which diameter do I need?

The same as the main tube of your scope, most often 30 mm. You find it in the scope specifications.

Can I mount the scope myself?

Yes. Fix the rings on the rail, put the scope in, set the eye relief, level the reticle and tighten the ring screws evenly to the torque given by the maker.

Do these rings fit a Weaver rail?

The JK-N configurator rings do, JK-N makes their bases for Weaver and Picatinny.
