Optics ready plates for Kimber models

This collection contains an optic plate for the Kimber KDS9C with a factory optic cut. The plate is machined from steel by Impact Machine in the USA. It takes red dots with the Shield RMSc or the Holosun K-series footprint. Both footprints are common on compact pistol red dots.

Installation

Remove the factory cover plate from the optic cut. Screw the optic plate into its place, then screw the red dot onto the plate. No milling is needed and you can do it yourself. Threadlocker on the screws is recommended.

Can I install an optic plate on my Kimber KDS9C at home?

Yes. You need no gunsmith and no milling.

1. Remove the cover plate from the optic cut.
2. Screw the optic plate into the cut.
3. Screw the red dot onto the plate.

Put a drop of threadlocker on every screw.

Which red dots will fit my KDS9C?

Red dots with the Shield RMSc or Holosun K-series footprint, for example Shield red dots or the Holosun 407K and 507K. The Impact Machine plate takes both footprints.
