I was a bit worried after reading bad reviews about fitting.
Mine is absolutely perfect. Screws are spot on. I took my time to properly install the plate handle fitting the red dot screws as recommended.
Degrease, Loctite and 48 h drying.
I passed 700 9mm NATO without any loosing screws.
When using Irons sight, it shoot wayyyyyyy High. Unusable iron.
I’m really pleased with this item.

It would be even better if the opto rods were orange. Maybe it's possible to change! :-)

I did not have to machine the slide. It just pops on, you do not need gun master to install.
The plate covers the space between the itself and the slide. You can install it to the middle of the slide only. It does not move at all.
Work great in converting my 1911 to optics without alot of heavy modifications. Did require aome fitting and and clearencing but that was expected

Since I couldn’t get a potential slide replacement for my no longer produced pistol, I couldn’t take a chance of milling it. Your type B red dot mount was my salvation. It works fantastic. Only suggestion is not having your newer insertion tool was a problem as the dive tail on the mount keep wanting to rise or ride out as you hammer the mount in place. Overall a great solution for older pistols and will tell my shooting buddies about it. Thanks! JS

Unfortunately I have not received my order and appears to have been lost within the postal system. There has been no update on tracking for 2 half weeks
I had some doubts, but when I put this sights to my PDP, there were no more doubts, it’s a very useful and good quality sights.
