The Sig Sauer P320 Compact and X-Compact pistols are offered in several factory optics-ready configurations. Most of these use the Romeo1Pro / DeltaPoint Pro (DPP) style cut, and some slides are additionally drilled and tapped with RMR / Holosun-pattern screw holes. Picking the correct adapter plate ensures a secure fit, proper zero and long-term reliability.
This category gathers optics ready plates specifically for Sig P320 COMPACT optics-ready models. Whether your slide is a standard DPP / R1P cut or a DPP cut with extra RMR holes, you will find plates that match your slide and your chosen red dot footprint.
How the P320 Compact optics cut works
All optics-ready P320 Compact / X-Compact slides in this category share the same DPP / Romeo1Pro-style mounting footprint. The differences you’ll see between variants are mainly:
-
DPP cut only vs. DPP cut with extra RMR / Holosun holes: Some slides are “pure” DPP cuts, others add RMR-pattern threaded holes. Our adapter plates index off the DPP cut itself and the locating bosses, so a plate designed for the DPP / R1P cut will work on both slide styles. The extra RMR-threaded holes are simply unused when you mount an adapter plate.
-
Rear sight position: On many P320 Compact optics-ready slides the rear sight sits in its own dovetail behind the cut, so it stays in place when you remove the cover plate. Other P320 families combine the rear sight with the cover. If your Compact slide does lose the rear sight with the cover, look for plates with an integrated rear sight or rear-dovetail solution in the product description.
The key is to confirm that your slide is a factory optics-ready P320 Compact / X-Compact with a DPP / R1P style cut, then choose a plate that matches your red dot footprint.
Plates for the most common red dot footprints
Within this category you’ll find adapter plates for a wide range of popular optics, including (model-dependent):
- Trijicon RMR / SRO
- Leupold DeltaPoint Pro / Romeo1Pro-type cuts
- Shield RMSc
- Holosun K-Series
- Noblex / Vortex Venom style
- Aimpoint Acro
- C-More RTS and similar footprints
Always check the individual product page for the exact combination of P320 Compact slide type + optic footprint it supports (for example: P320 X-Compact RXP, optics-ready P320 Compact with DPP cut only, P320 Compact with DPP cut plus RMR holes, etc.).
Precision fit for P320 Compact optics-ready models
Each adapter plate in this collection is CNC-machined specifically around the optics-ready P320 Compact / X-Compact slide geometry. You’ll find options such as:
- Low-profile plates that sit as close to the slide as possible for a lower bore-axis feel and faster presentation.
- Plates that integrate a backup rear sight or provide a rear-dovetail option, if your configuration loses the rear sight when you remove the cover.
- Competition-focused plates that maximize window exposure and speed of target acquisition.
This lets you tune your Compact for concealed carry, duty use or competition while keeping a secure mounting interface and reliable zero retention over time.
Iron sights & backup sighting options
If you prefer a traditional sight picture or want a backup to your red dot, we also offer iron sights for Sig P320 optics-ready models, including suppressor-height sets for co-witness, fiber-optic fronts and tritium night sights. For setups where the rear sight is removed with the plate, look for adapter plates that reintroduce a rear notch or allow a rear sight to be mounted directly on the plate.
Have a non-OR Sig P320 Compact?
If your Sig P320 Compact is not optics-ready from the factory, you can still mount a red dot using dovetail or dedicated mounting solutions. Explore our red dot mounts for non-OR Sig P320 pistols here.
