Direct-fit models

Some models are made for one optic cut and need no plate: Osight SE MOS (Glock MOS).

Features

• Enclosed housing: An enclosed housing keeps rain, mud and dust away from the LED. Models: Osight S, Osight SE, Osight SE DPP, Osight SE MOS and Osight SE | 6 MOA and more.
• Multi-reticle system: A multi-reticle system lets you switch between a dot, a circle or both. Models: Osight S, Osight SE, Osight SE DPP, Osight SE MOS and Osight X and more.
• Magnetic charging: Magnetic charging covers recharge the red dot while it is covered. Models: Olight Osight, Osight S, Osight X and Osight XR Enclosed.
• Side battery tray: A side battery tray lets you change the battery without removing the red dot, so you keep the zero. Models: Osight C.

Mounting

On a pistol with a factory optic cut, the red dot goes on an optic plate with the same footprint. On a pistol without optic cut, it goes on a red dot mount in place of the rear sight. See Optics ready plates and Red dot mounts.

Frequently asked questions

Can I put a Osight red dot on my pistol?

Yes, if there is a plate or mount for your pistol with the same footprint as the red dot. Each red dot names its footprint in the table above and in its description.

Can I install the red dot myself?

Yes. Screw it onto the plate or mount with the screws that come with it. Put a drop of threadlocker on each screw and tighten it to the torque given by the maker.

Can I change the battery without removing the red dot?

Yes, on models with a side battery tray, for example the Osight C.

Open or enclosed red dot?

An enclosed red dot keeps rain and dirt away from the LED. An open red dot is lighter and smaller. Enclosed models here: Osight S, Osight SE, Osight SE DPP and Osight SE MOS.
