Sights for CZ Shadow 2

(15 products)

One sight system covers the core CZ Shadow 2 range - CZ Shadow 2, Shadow 2 OR, Shadow 2 SA, Shadow 2 Urban Grey and Shadow 2 Compact all share the same dovetail and sight height, classic or Optics Ready alike. Two variants break from that: the CZ Shadow 2 Orange takes a different front sight to the rest of the line, and the CZ Shadow 2 Carry runs its own dedicated sight system that is not shared with any other Shadow 2. If you shoot the CZ Shadow 2 Target, look for it alongside the CZ TS 2 and TS 1 instead - it takes their sight set, not the standard Shadow 2's.

A factory sight is built to a price, not for a stage clock - a high-contrast fiber optic front post is faster to pick up during a draw or a target transition, and a fully adjustable rear lets you dial a true zero for your own load rather than the factory average.

Front sight height stays fixed - only the aiming point changes

Every front sight for the standard Shadow 2 sits at the same 7.5 mm height, whether it is the plain blacked-out post, the fiber optic version with a 1.0 mm rod, or the fiber optic version with a 1.5 mm rod. That matters because it means the choice between them is purely about the aiming point, not the zero: swapping fiber thickness or dropping to a plain post will not shift your point of impact the way changing sight height would. A 1.5 mm rod gathers more light and reads as a bigger, bolder dot - faster to find during a draw or a fast target transition, which is why it is a common choice for Production and Standard division. A 1.0 mm rod is dimmer but finer, useful if you want the front post to cover less of a distant target. A plain blacked-out post removes any light-gathering colour entirely, for shooters who find a fiber dot distracting rather than helpful.

Why the Shadow 2 supports this many sight options

The Shadow 2 is CZ's flagship for IPSC and USPSA Production and Standard division, and that competition use is why the aftermarket sight range for it runs deeper than for almost any other CZ. The rear sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation with a small flat driver, which lets you dial a true zero for your own load and stage distance rather than living with whatever point of impact the factory sight gave you - useful if you reload or shoot a load noticeably different from factory ball ammunition. Front and rear come from Zendl (Czech Republic) and LPA (Italy), alongside CZ's own factory parts.

Switching your Shadow 2 to a red dot

Planning to run an optic instead of, or above, your irons? If your Shadow 2 is the classic (non-OR) version, a red dot mount takes the place of the rear sight in the existing dovetail - no slide milling needed. If you already run the Optics Ready (OR) slide, an Optics Ready plate adapts the factory cut to your red dot's footprint. Either route, a front sight filler from this collection removes the now-unneeded front post cleanly, or keep a low-profile front and rear in place to co-witness underneath the dot.

Running the Orange, the Carry, or the Target line? Double-check you are in the right collection - the front sight on the Orange, and the whole sight system on the Carry and Target variants, will not interchange with the standard Shadow 2 parts above.
