How to read the title
In "6-32 x 0.374" [T10]", 6-32 is the thread, 0.374" the length and T10 the Torx bit. Threads 4-40, 6-32, 6-40 and 6-48 are imperial. M3, M3.5 and M4 are metric. A screw that is too long can bottom out before it clamps the red dot. A screw that is too short holds only a few threads.
Screws for specific models
CZ makes screws for its Optics Ready plates and Holosun for its K-series footprint. Shield Sights makes sets for its Glock MOS mount, RMR adapter plate, Walther mounts and mini sights, and for the Sig P320, the Sig P365 X and XL and the S&W M&P Shield Plus plates.
Put a drop of threadlocker on every screw. See Installation tools.
Frequently asked questions
Which screws do I need?
The same thread and length as your original screws. Measure them or check the manual of your red dot, then take the set with the same thread and length.
Do I need threadlocker?
Yes. Without it, the screws can loosen under recoil.
